Passionate journalist and copywriter

I love the freedom that being a freelance journalist gives me to write about a wide range of subjects.  These have included articles on romance, dementia, tractors, childhood pets, 24 hour endurance races, cat sitters, parties, spies and sex.

I've also written for many years on motoring and petrolheads (some of the nicest and funniest people you could wish to meet), covering vehicles from 72-ton Challenger tanks to pre-WW2 Bentleys.

I've interviewed people as diverse as Damien Hirst, Formula 1 Designer Alastair Caldwell and Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan.

Over the past 25 years, my articles have been published in numerous newspapers and magazines, including The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph, Marie Claire, The Idler, Food Illustrated, Octane, Magneto, Auto Addicts, The Observer and The Automobile.

Forthcoming pieces include stories from this year's Bonneville Speed Week, and interviews with demon racer Cora Moore, Lagonda preservationist Greg Powlesland and Bugatti wizard Ivan Dutton.

Legacy Writing
